Well, here is a big apology for the lack of updates recently, but we have been busy moving the horses to a new base at Quenby Hall near Hungarton in Leicester. Marie and Mike Carters place has been fantastic, but I needed to have the horses a bit closer and Marie is still heavily involved with Team Grieve(it wouldn't be the same without her), although her wedding is high on the agenda right now with only two weeks to go! We now have a lovely old yard, with a walker, school and the most fabulous hacking and canter fields around the simply stunning Quenby Estate.
Things have been really busy and I am so grateful to everyone for their help in moving. Marie, Bradley, Sarah, The Tordoffs, the Farmer family, Georgie, Amanda and Sarah Brewster have all been brilliant and so supportive. In between time we have been out competing despite the bad weather and numerous cancellations and I took eight horses jumping at Arena UK where I jumped 30 rounds all told, and everyone jumped superbly. I also took some of Judy Bradwells horses dressaging where Tommy Steel, a lovely Irish Four Year old was a winner in his first dressage outing! I'm very excited for the future with such super young horses knocking about, and feel a very lucky chap to have such brilliant equines as well as humans supporting me..roll on better weather!
