Today I took some horses jumping at Weston Lawns. I love taking them BS and we are so lucky to have Weston Lawns on our doorstep, with its fantastic facilites. I rode Mini first in the 1.05m class. She was jumping beautifully until I jumped through the treble. She landed a bit steeply and I managed to somehow trap a nerve in my lower back. I had to pull up and rather pathetically, it felt, could not carry on, much to Mini's disgust as she loves her showjumping. Thomasina Spillman (Chiropractor extrordinaire) who treats all the horses for us gave me a spot of treatment which seems to have sorted the problem, although I couldn't get off the treatment couch immediately after as it was so uncomfortable, which was a little embarrassing!! I'm sure I'll be on flying form again tomorrow!!
